She’s certainly a well-known face, so the thought of dating Alexandra Burke might be daunting for some men. So it’s understandable that the former X Factor winner’s companion on Thursday night decided to keep his head down in a bid to avoid being photographed as the pair enjoyed a romantic theater date.
Alexandra, meanwhile, was happy to smile for the waiting photographers as the pair made their way through Covent Garden after attending a VIP charity gala showing of new musical The Bodyguard. The newly-blonde singer dressed to impress on the evening out, wearing a fringed black coat over her purple top and black leather skirt.
She finished off her outfit with a pair of black toecap court shoes, and left her blonde hair straight and sleek for the evening. Meanwhile, Alexandra’s companion wore a red and black camouflage-style leather-armed shirt, with loose-fitting jeans and trainers, topped off with a Trapstar hat.
While the identity of the man is still unknown, sources inside the theatre said the pair are clearly smitten.
One source told MailOnline: ‘Alexandra couldn’t take her eyes off her date. They watched the show from a box and while Alexandra went to chat to some friends in the main auditorium in the interval, she couldn’t resist sneaking looks back at him.’
‘And he was more than happy to let Alexandra to take centre stage, standing dutifully by as she chatted to her pals.’
Earlier in the evening, Alexandra had expressed her excitement about the evening, which was held to raise money for the Children’s Air Ambulance.
She tweeted: ‘Seeing the BodyGuard 2nyt. very excited. Supporting a great cause all the proceeds go2the children’s air ambulance service from 2Nyts show x’
