I love the name Essence. It has so much depth and beauty to it. I guess that’s why actress Essence Atkins is such a beautiful woman inside and out.
As a child star favorite of mine, I am always torn between which television role struck out the most to me. I can’t decide between Saved by the Bell, Sister Sister, The Cosby Show or Smart Guy among a host of other television shows.
It’s a tough call as Essence as always dazzled in all her roles. Noteworthy is the fact that she has not changed one bit over the last 20 years or so. What do some of these Hollywood women do to stay so youthful? Essence could pass for 22 and she recently turned 40. Can you believe this petite beauty is 40 years old already?
A lot of people are skeptical about online dating. However, I do have to say that in a world of approximately 6 billion people it’s still hard to meet the one for you sometimes. It ought to be easier to meet the one destined for you right? But with our busy schedules and constantly being couped up in vehicles all day, a lot of people pass each other without seeing. This is why this beautiful woman decided to take matters into her own hands.
The television actress joined the millions of Americans on Match.com – one of the world’s top online dating sites.
As fate would have it, she met a handsome gentleman named Jaime Mendez. Jaime a Costa Rican American (Central America) is a retired college football player. He played for Kansas State University and was the Wildcats’ all-time career leader. It’s clear that Essence loves being KolorBlind.
Essence and Jaime tied the knot in a September 2009 ceremony and gave birth to their first child – a boy named Varro Blair Mendez in December of 2011.
We can’t wait to see Varro make an appearance. We know he’s just beautiful. Here’s wishing your family continued success in everything you do. Xo
